Blakley Electrics combined transformer / socket assembly providing a 115V 50Hz single-phase supply suitable to feed American Domestic Appliances. Please note: this transformer does NOT provide a Reduced Low Voltage Supply and is not suitable to supply 110V Powertools or Temporary Lighting on UK Construction Sites. The transformer will be built to BS EN 61558 Pt1 & 2-13.

Enclosure
ATLP series, portable, sheet steel, ventilated to IP20. The enclosure is phosphate pre-treated prior to electrostatically applied powder coating, shade Matt Black.

Rating
2000 VA single-phase, auto-wound, continuously rated transformer.

Voltage Ratio
230:115NE (230V is input)
BS7671:2018 permits a supply voltage tolerance of -6% / +10%. Any variation in the voltage connected to the input will proportionally vary the output voltage and also alter the inrush current characteristics. To address the impact of variations in the supply voltage, tappings can be incorporated. We would be pleased to quote for transformers with tappings.

Distribution
2 no. 15A, SP+N+E, 115V, NEMA Approved US Standard Sockets protected by a 10A DP MCB on the input.

Frequency
Transformers do not alter frequency, which is 50Hz in the UK but 60Hz in the USA. Many basic products are not affected by such a difference in frequency but specialist equipment may be.
